Zeal – Andrew

Tiddis Soulton – Alex
The last of the cultists were defeated and Pyresmoke pulled their leader back from the brink of death. After removing the leader’s mask he was revealed to be Justice IronBriar. He was under the power of a charm spell and once it was broken he offered to help the party track down the “snake” who bewitched him. The so called snake was a lamia who had taken up refuge in the clock tower of the underbridge district. It was revealed that the other living member of the brotherhood of seven was the court wizard of the mayor.
IronBriar was able to use his position as a justice to grant Zeal and Pyresmoke an audience with the wizard under the guise of a meeting to exchange knowledge about psionics and the arcane. When Pyresmoke announced his knowledge of the lamia the wizard began to reach for his staff. Before things got ugly Pyresmoke was able to suppress the charm affect and gain another ally in the fight against the snake.
Gladreich and Ragnar searched the underbridge for hired help to clean up the mess at the sawmill. After Ragnar murdered a half orc, Gladreich was able to hire some local vagrants to help. A visit was also paid to the owners of the previously destroyed saw mills. A deal was made with them so that they could run the now vacant sawmill.
IronBriar sent a raven to the tower claims to be bring in two new cultist who need to learn how to preform the sacrificial rites. Under this ruse the group traveled to the tower. Ragnar, Zeal, and Pyresmoke climbed its steps under disguise while Tiddis and Gladreich scaled the tower from the outside. They reached main chamber where the lamia and her faceless stalkers were waiting. She grew suspicious as IronBriar did not seem like his same infatuated self. She charmed him yet again and the group attacked. Ragnar, Zeal, and Pyresmoke burst from their disguises while Tiddis and Gladreich flanked from behind. The lamia was killed and her faceless lackeys were picked off as they tried to flee. They discovered a letter claiming that Fort Rannick would soon be under the control of the lamia’s sister. After being rewarded by the mayor for their efforts, the group makes preparations for the week long journey to Fort Rannick.
